Best Restaurants in Bristol, PA (2026 Guide)
Published June 9, 2026
Bristol Borough is the most underrated food stop in Lower Bucks. The riverfront town has reinvented its Mill Street corridor over the past decade, and the dining followed: a chef-driven seafood room in Jules at Market, a historic inn serving meals beside the Delaware at the King George II, and an Italian banquet institution in Georgine's that generations of Lower Bucks families have celebrated in. Three very different restaurants, all worth the drive.
The Big Three
Jules at Market is the headliner — a 4.7-rated seafood restaurant that brings genuine polish to Mill Street, from raw-bar selections to composed entrées you would expect closer to Philadelphia. The King George II Inn trades on setting and history: a riverside dining room in an inn whose roots reach back to the colonial era, with a generous brunch and one of the best water views in the county. Georgine's is the red-sauce anchor, equally at home plating veal parm for two or hosting a 200-person celebration.
Make a Day of It
Bristol rewards a slow visit. The riverfront wharf and Mill Street's shops sit within a block of all three restaurants, and the Bristol Riverside Theatre makes an easy dinner-and-a-show pairing — Jules before a curtain is the move. In warm months, ask for outdoor seating at the King George II and watch the river traffic go by.
Tip: Mill Street parking is free but fills on theatre nights — check the Bristol Riverside Theatre calendar before you go. Sunday brunch at the King George II is popular; reserve ahead for a window or patio table.
